Web Developer -- SEO & Content Automation (Full Remote)

Context

We operate websites in highly competitive, multilingual markets, with a strong focus on SEO-driven growth and scalable content production.

Content is at the core of our strategy. To scale efficiently, we are building internal tools that automate content creation, optimization, translation, and publication.

We are now looking for a Web Developer to design and build these tools, working closely with SEO and content profiles to turn business needs into concrete technical solutions.

This is a hands-on development role, focused on building real tools used in production.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing internal tools that support and automate SEO and content operations.

The role is primarily backend-oriented, but includes building functional internal interfaces when needed.
SEO strategy will be defined by dedicated profiles --- your role is to translate SEO and content needs into robust, efficient technical systems.

Key Responsibilities (Short Term)

• Develop internal tools to automate content creation using AI.
• Build backend systems to transform inputs (keywords, briefs, existing articles, URLs) into structured, SEO-ready content.
• Implement solutions to translate and adapt existing content into multiple languages.
• Enable automated or semi-automated publishing (WordPress, static HTML, or other formats depending on use cases).
• Build internal interfaces (admin tools, dashboards, configuration screens) to operate these systems.
• Design architectures that are flexible and not tied exclusively to WordPress.
• Collaborate closely with SEO and content profiles to iterate and improve tools.
• Ensure reliability, maintainability, and performance of internal tools.

Profile Required

Must-Have

• Strong experience as a Web Developer, with a backend-oriented mindset.
• Solid proficiency in PHP as the main server-side language.
• Good knowledge of MySQL / relational databases.
• Experience building backend tools, scripts, or internal platforms.
• Comfortable working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build functional internal interfaces.
• Ability to design clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Basic to solid understanding of SEO fundamentals (search intent, structure, on-page logic).
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• English required (working language, not necessarily fluent).

Nice-to-Have

• Experience interacting with WordPress programmatically (APIs, hooks, plugins, data structure).
• Ability to build custom tools or plugins to support publishing and automation needs.
• Previous work on automation, content generation, or AI-powered tools.
• Familiarity with multilingual websites and SEO-related constraints.
• Experience working with APIs (including AI APIs).
